Skin care: Avoid these 5 mistakes that cause pimples

Everybody wants their skin to remain glowing and glossy, yet pimples and rashes prevent it from looking flawless. People frequently make basic skin care errors that reduce the brightness of their faces or increase their chances of getting pimples. Pimples normally cure on their own within a few days, but as long as they are on the face, they are a source of concern.

Here are 5 mistakes that cause pimples

1. Not drinking enough water

Due to moisture on the skin, breakouts may occur if you do not drink enough water each day. As a result of these breakouts, acne and pimples can appear on the face.

2. Eating too much sugar

Excess sugar consumption can also result in pimples and breakouts. In such cases, it is necessary to minimize your sugar intake, particularly added sugar.

3. Scrubbing the face too much

Scrubbing removes dead skin cells and gives the skin a healthy shine. However, frequent rubbing and washing of the face causes harm to the skin. Skin damage causes problems such as rashes and pimples.

4. Touching your face frequently

If you wash your face frequently after contacting your phone, laptop screen, or any other external surface, as well as after eating meals, this can also lead to pimples.

5. Using Moisturizers

Many people with oily skin think that using moisturizers can even dampen their skin and aggravate acne. However, that is not the case. Oily skin requires moisture, and it isn’t always true that oily skin stays well-hydrated at all times. In many circumstances, the situation is precisely the opposite. When the skin loses moisture, the sebaceous glands produce more oil to retain it. This protective action may block pores and worsen acne breakouts.
