DIY Chia Seeds face mask for glowing skin
Chia seeds are considered superfoods. These seeds are rich in anti-oxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Consuming these seeds is healthful, but their advantages extend to skin care as well. Chia seeds reduce premature aging, remove dead skin cells, moisturize and nourish the skin. In such cases, chia seed face packs can be prepared.
Here’s how to make Chia Seeds face mask
In a bowl, place two teaspoons of chia seeds, cover with four teaspoons of water and let soak for at least fifteen minutes. Once the chia seeds have fully soaked, mix with one teaspoon each of lemon juice and honey. Once well mixed, leave this face pack on your face for 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off. The skin glows and looks moisturized.
A face pack may also be made by combining 2 teaspoons of chia seeds and 1 teaspoon of olive oil with 1 teaspoon honey. Apply this face pack on your face for 20 minutes, then wash it off. To get beautiful skin, make and apply this face pack once a week.
Furthermore, you may use a face pack made of coconut oil and chia seeds. Soak two tablespoons of chia seeds in water to make this face pack. These soaked chia seeds should be properly mixed with a few drops of coconut oil before being applied to the face. Following ten to fifteen minutes, wash and clean the face.
