How to make Rose Water at home to boost your skin hydration

Rose water is often regarded as having several skin benefits. Rose water hydrates and moisturizes the skin. Rose water regulates the pH balance of the skin and is regarded as an effective anti-aging treatment for the face. Rose water is very effective in treating sunburn and dark spots and cooling the skin during the summer. Rose water can be found in stores, but if you want pure rose water, you may easily prepare it yourself.  Here is how to make Rose Water at home.

Steps to make Rose Water at home

1. You will need to take fresh rose flowers from your garden plant to make rose water. Separate the leaves on these flowers and give them a good wash in water to get rid of any dirt or dust.

2. Now fill a vessel with clean water, or RO water and place it on the gas. Fill this water with the cleaned rose petals.

3. Now, put a steel rack inside and a bowl on top. Cover the vessel and pack a dough ball on top to keep the steam from escaping through the sides.

4. Overall, you need to make sure that the steam produced inside the container does not escape and stays in the bowl inside.

5. Turn down the flame and give the water a while to boil. You’ll see that steam is entering the bowl that is contained inside the vessel from the rose petal water. After some time, switch off the gas and allow the steam in this bowl to cool.

6. Fill a spray bottle with the steam water when it has cooled down. Your rose water is ready.
