Here’s how to make delicious Anjeer Kheer at home

Anjeer, also known as Dried Fig, is a very nourishing food item that is often consumed after being soaked for the entire night. It provides a lot of minerals, including iron, magnesium, manganese and zinc. Additionally, Anjeer has a high fiber content that ensures a healthy bowel movement.

Steps to make delicious Anjeer Kheer

1. Heat the ghee in a pan. After that, add the sliced almonds and cook for a minute. After washing the rice, add it and sauté for an extra two minutes.

2. Pour milk into the pan now. Add the saffron to the pan after soaking it in one to two tablespoons of water. Let the milk boil while maintaining medium heat.

3.  Chop the anjeer roughly and let them soak in water for a while. After emptying the water, put the anjeer in a blender. Blend with 2–3 tablespoons water to make a paste.

4. Mix well after adding the anjeer paste to the milk. Check that there are no lumps in it. Simmer the mixture for ten minutes over a low heat. Add sugar now and mix well. Stir continuously in between.

5. Serve the Anjeer Kheer after adding chopped nuts.
