1. In a bowl, mix boiled potatoes with porridge. Add the salt, black cumin seeds, coriander leaves, sliced ginger and green chillies. To make a dough,  mash and combine everything with a spoon or your hands.

2. Cut the dough into eight or ten equal pieces.

3. Wet your hands with water and flatten each part into a disk or tikki about two to three inches in diameter.

4. Fry in oil till golden spots appear. Use the remaining pieces to make more tikkis.

5. Serve the tasty Porridge Tikkis with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
