1. To make this delicious pulao, first cook the rice and then boil the kabuli chana. Keep aside for future use.
2. Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat, then add cumin seeds, garlic, ginger, and green chillies, sautéing for a minute or two. Following that, add the chopped onions and sauté until they start to lose colour. Once finished, add the chopped tomatoes as well. Mix red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and garam masala powder. Cook for a further minute.
3. Once done, add salt with water and boiled chickpeas (kabuli chana). Add the chopped mint and coriander leaves as well, and cook for ten minutes on low heat.
4. Next, mix cooked rice, lemon juice and remaining ghee. Cook for a further 5-8 minutes over medium heat.
5. Let the mixture cook. Put the pulao on a serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves. Your Kabuli Chana Pulao is ready to serve.
