1. Add the peanuts to the pan and dry roast until they turn slightly brown. It will take around 5-6 minutes. Turn off the flame and place the peanuts on a platter. To remove the skin of peanuts, rub them between your palms.
2. In a mixer, mix peanuts and crush till fine powder. Now, filter the powder to make it finer. Mix in the milk powder and peanut powder.
3. In a pan, add 1/2 cup water and 1 cup sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened and reaches one-string consistency.
4. To create a smooth mixture, add the peanut powder to the sugar syrup and stir thoroughly. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Now, turn off the flame.
5. Now, apply some ghee on a butter paper. Pour the mixture onto the paper and knead it using the butter paper itself. Fold the paper and press the dough. Repeat this step until the mixture maintains shape and has the texture of dough.
6. Now, drop the dough on the butter paper and flatten it gently with your hands. Cover it with another piece of butter paper. Roll it out with a rolling pin to create a sheet. It should be around the thickness of a barfi. Cut katlis out of the sheet.
