5 effective tips to prevent dengue
Dengue fever is an infection that is spread by mosquitoes and spreads swiftly. To some degree, though, its expansion can be limited with a few easy preventive steps. Every year, during the monsoon, there is a significant rise in dengue cases. The first signs and symptoms of dengue fever are fever, rash, headaches and nausea. The primary goals of dengue prevention techniques are to reduce mosquito breeding and mosquito bites.
Here are 5 effective tips to prevent dengue
1. Keep yourself covered
Whenever you leave the house during the day or evening, wear as many covered garments as possible. Wear a full-sleeve shirt or kurta, long trousers, socks and shoes; do not wear slippers or sandals.
2. Use mosquito net
Try to always sleep under a mosquito net to prevent dengue fever and to keep dengue mosquitoes away from you. This prevents other insects as well as mosquitoes from bothering you.
3. Use lemon and eucalyptus
Mix eucalyptus oil and lemon juice with water and spray your home. It works well to keep insects away. Mosquitoes hate the scent of lemon eucalyptus essential oil.
4. Do not allow dirty water to accumulate
Dengue mosquitoes tend to breed in places with dirty water. Avoid letting water accumulate in any pots, coolers, or other vessels in this case, and be sure to clean the water tank every 15 to 20 days.
5. Know the symptoms
Effective treatment and early detection can help you fight the illness. Common symptoms include a high temperature, a sharp headache, vomiting, pain behind the eyes, pains in the muscles and joints and skin rashes.
